Ample global supplies pushed down Chicago Board of Trade wheat futures on Thursday, as MGEX spring wheat set contract low, traders said. CBOT September soft red winter wheat sagged 2-1/2 cents to $4.69-3/4 a bushel. Firm domestic cash markets for soft red winter wheat should minimize deliveries against September wheat futures on Friday, the first notice day, traders and analysts said. CBOT December wheat settled 2-1/2 cents lower at $4.72-3/4 per bushel.
